Welcome to Waiuku AFC
Waiuku AFC has been part of the greater Franklin area for over 60 years. First formed in 1959 it has now grown to over 400 members with more than 250 junior and youth footballers. Waiuku AFC is the first club in the South Auckland region, and one of a handful of clubs in the greater Auckland region to become a fully accredited NZF Junior Skills Centre. This makes Waiuku AFC a very attractive club to join by offering additional training hours and playing opportunities for juniors by delivering a high-quality football experience.
The ability to deliver affordable football to the Franklin community relies heavily on support from sponsors and grant funders. This year we have increased participation through our First Kicks (4-6 years), Small Whites (7-8 years) and Junior (9-12) football programmes, development football for emerging talent across our youth grades (13-19), and the continuation of a successful playing season for our men’s and women’s senior social and competitive teams.
